If you know me well enough, you know that I am a very extroverted person. Don't get me wrong, it doesn't mean I am popular or anything. It just shows that people are very important to me, sometimes too important. Well, looking past, I really think that people are one of the best gifts I have received! To be surrounded by good friends and good influences is a blessing!
For you who have been reading my blog, maybe you have seen this kind of post before, but I really want to list out 5 people/group I am really thankful to in 2012!
1. My Utown ChemEng group! (Yes, the 12 of you!)
Maybe we are not the closest friend or the most happening group around. However, I have to thank you guys for really being just purely awesome and supportive. I believe that we going through this course together is more fun with friends around, especially the supporting ones. You all never knew how much you guys have helped me in school work and sharing resources! I am just really grateful for each one of you: Xi Ming, Patrick, Ying Te, Monil, Michael Pang, Valentin, Sharad, Daphne, Bernadette, Jolene, Joshua, Edmund. You guys are purely awesome. Just sayin!
2. My suitemates (Ben Tan, Chin Boon)
People called us 'dysfunctional'. It doesn't really matter. I have NEVER regretted moving to the suite I am now. Well, the reason is to be with you guys! Sorry that I haven't really been spending time with you guys! But really, I want to thank both of you for being the most fun and caring neighbors! I appreciate how we all can help out each other and just to look out for each other. To share some of our secrets and to really able to talk openly is really something! Really looking forward to staying for another sem (at least) with you guys!
3. Joy Fu
You might or might not agree with what I am going to say, but anyway, you have really been a blessing for me, especially in my spiritual walk. Thank you for really praying for me and reminding me about the importance of prayer and reading the Word. Recently, to be there in times when I am not feeling very happy! Thanks for being a friend of mine, even when I am in need! :D
4. Edmund Siau
Well, nothing much. A "nerdy-looking (first impression) guy" who apparently is super smart and multi-talented, with gazillion of friends, which turns out to be a very fun person! Thank you for really being a fun friend and a friend that is there when I am in need! Thanks for letting me stay and I have to say that your family is just pure awesome (sorry my vocab a bit limited).
5. Benjamin Wee
Ben! I put you last because you are the person I am most grateful to! Maybe we haven't really been seeing each other lately, but I really want to thank you for being there in my most difficult times. To be a listening ear each time I am sad. To really be available everytime to listen to my complaints and story, and praying for me at the end of each conversation. You are a huge blessing in my life! and I believe in many others' too!

PINUS *AWESOME* ORIENTATION
To tell you the truth, originally, I was not excited nor interested in this
orientation program. I was thinking of giving it a miss. Before this, I
have a bad image about PINUS, due to my seniors comments. However, one
of my good friend actually invited me to join this orientation, so I
gave it a second thought and join it, since I was free anyway. Fortunately, they proved me wrong! It was definitely worth joining!
Last week, I just attended my first orientation in NUS, which is PINUS orientation (the Indon Groups in NUS). It was definitely a very fun time! Thank you very much for all participants and committee, but most importantly:

Although we didn't end up winning any award, but I think we achieve the utmost goal of this orientation: BONDING. Well, we did end up being 'trained' to perform 'jokes', thanks to our broken sense of joke!
A special thanks for Hans Adrian for letting me stay for 2 days! (since we went back so late after the event). and also a special thanks to Teja for the 'advice' (well you know what it is ok! so keep it for yourself), I shall give it a try haha! :)
And for Rani: "Get well soon! Orientation is over so go and rest your feet! You are a tough girl!"

A BIG THANKS TO MY DANCE JUNIORS!
Well, lately I have been having a lot of thoughts and feeling quite down.. But yea, guess what, after I read the "notes" that you've written to me, I really feel encouraged and better.. So yeah, this is a kind of reply to your notes, in a blog form!! Sorry that it is kinda late, but I guess late is better than never, and say it while you can! A Bad Sunday
So yea, hi people, haven't really blogged for 2 months.. Today is my last day of holiday, which is tuesday. I am supposed to go to Prep, but since I have injury on my leg, I can stay in my room to do my own work. So basically, last sunday was a "bad" day for me. Lots of things happen. I used my 2 days to really think about what happen and I come with a conclusion to write this, not as a complain board, but just as a personal record for me.
So after church, me and my friends were waiting for our other friends to meet up and go for lunch. However, in the midst of it, they play a joke on me, which for me I think it is a really inappropriate joke, beyond the limit that I take it as a joke. Carried out by my anger, in truth I was really disappointed, I sulk and ignore them. After a few moments, I realized that what I did was really an unbecoming of me. It was really childish of me. So I decided to just forget about it and initiated an apology to one of them whom I accused as the one starting the joke. He said that he does not mind about it, but yea, I still feel bad for him.
The other problem, comes with my other friend which is also there. he rejected my apology and put a blind eye over my feelings, even after I told him why am I angry and such. I know that I have my share of fault, but I still believe that both sides have an apology to be settled. I really don't mind starting the apology, as long as the other side can have an understanding. Although I really have many favors that I owe to him, but I guess I am kinda sad and disappointed that he refuses to even try to understand what I felt at that time. Well no one is perfect, so I am still looking forward to reconcile that relationship, and I do learn that anger does not solve anything.
I don't really tell this story to anyone, so yea, this blog is the only time I talk about it.

Our sec3, sec4 g-stand click!
Whoops, I think I failed to post after that 2 weeks. (see the previous post). I was busy and many thoughts are running in my mind after that 2 weeks, so I did not manage to post what happened. But I think what is written there is true and it did happen so yea..
Moving on! :) This friday, I was very happy to be hanging out with the old g-stand click! together with Adit, Gide, and Heizel! :) It was a really good time catching up with each other (because I am the one who is lost lol), yep heard many interesting stories and such. We started off at Somerset 313, eating at the foodcourt. It was horribly expensive for a food court, but nevertheless the food was not bad! We then went to sour sally!! The yogurt is just awesome! :) and we manage to talk about some stuff to!! We also manage to play billiard (although I am the only one who can't play) together.. Remind me of those times eh! It was a really good time!
So, this is my afterthought. I am not really in contact with Adit anymore (we do talk sometimes only in msn or so :O) and meets Gide once a week (in church obviously). But I guess, the cheerfulness and the jokes do not really change much from the past! As usual, I am the one getting bullied by their jokes (any three of them are the same!! >.<). but i guess its just a part of conveying "friendship" (hopefully) lol.
(this is a more personal thought) After meeting with them and hearing their stories, I just feel that I am left behind. Not that they leave me behind, it is more that I am unable to move forward as how the three of them did. (once again it is NOT that I am pessimistic). I am still stuck in my indecisiveness, about "it". My feelings are just mixed up after that incident, making me indecisive and confused. I am also unable to forget abt her although now I refrain myself from too much conversation by any means. But I am also unable to move forward, being too scared of the blocks ahead. (I think at least I understand Gide's feeling a bit, but still I salute him for being so brave, which I can't).
but, I do miss two things. First is hanging out on grandstand (last time we almost did it everyday) and secondly is to go to Clarke Quay tgt. I am still looking for those photos in Clarke, but I did not manage to find them, so yea. I do hope that we all can hang out again sometimes! I really do! (even with all those bullying and lame jokes though!)
Moving on! :) This friday, I was very happy to be hanging out with the old g-stand click! together with Adit, Gide, and Heizel! :) It was a really good time catching up with each other (because I am the one who is lost lol), yep heard many interesting stories and such. We started off at Somerset 313, eating at the foodcourt. It was horribly expensive for a food court, but nevertheless the food was not bad! We then went to sour sally!! The yogurt is just awesome! :) and we manage to talk about some stuff to!! We also manage to play billiard (although I am the only one who can't play) together.. Remind me of those times eh! It was a really good time!
So, this is my afterthought. I am not really in contact with Adit anymore (we do talk sometimes only in msn or so :O) and meets Gide once a week (in church obviously). But I guess, the cheerfulness and the jokes do not really change much from the past! As usual, I am the one getting bullied by their jokes (any three of them are the same!! >.<). but i guess its just a part of conveying "friendship" (hopefully) lol.
(this is a more personal thought) After meeting with them and hearing their stories, I just feel that I am left behind. Not that they leave me behind, it is more that I am unable to move forward as how the three of them did. (once again it is NOT that I am pessimistic). I am still stuck in my indecisiveness, about "it". My feelings are just mixed up after that incident, making me indecisive and confused. I am also unable to forget abt her although now I refrain myself from too much conversation by any means. But I am also unable to move forward, being too scared of the blocks ahead. (I think at least I understand Gide's feeling a bit, but still I salute him for being so brave, which I can't).
but, I do miss two things. First is hanging out on grandstand (last time we almost did it everyday) and secondly is to go to Clarke Quay tgt. I am still looking for those photos in Clarke, but I did not manage to find them, so yea. I do hope that we all can hang out again sometimes! I really do! (even with all those bullying and lame jokes though!)

A Predicted Future
I must admit that I heard God saying to me on Saturday, 26th March 2011 that my next two weeks will be a tough one. But I shall come out stronger than before. I really don't know what will happen in the next two weeks. I know it is not going to be easy, but it will be worth it, cause I'm not alone, He is with me, my closest friends are with me.. So yea, whoever read this, please do pray for me! :D:D I shall post again in the next 2 weeks what happened to me! :D:D I'm excited to see what I have become in the next 2 weeks! :D Adios ~

A Very Long Valentine Day's Note!
Hi guys! I know valentine is long over!! However, please do read the notes I write here.. at least your section ok! :D
This notes are for the 14 friends that have been very supportive in my life in 2011! (I think supportive is still an understatement though)
I think I really want to write this, because for the past few 9 weeks or so, it hasn't been an easy life for me. But I am really grateful for God that He gives me friends to rely on! :D
(If you are wondering why 14, it is because Valentine's day falls on the 14th of Feb!)
So here it goes:

1. John Ng
hi! hi! Haven't really talked to you in ages. Both of us have been busy in our own ways la. But still, I thank you for praying for me, listening to me, and even concerned about my spiritual growth! I really appreciate those! I know you have been having tough times this year. I really do hope that this note can be an encouragement to you.
I will be a friend to you, even in your hard times!

Let this verse be an encouragement to you. People may fall and stumble, but those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength!
2. Heizel
Hi. Thanks for being an amazing friend to me! Thank you for being the most, I said, MOST trustworthy friend that I have. You have proven to me that you are a responsible friend that does not sabo your friends even if you don't like them. Thanks for all the support and help, especially when I am having a bad day last time, for being understanding too!
You have been having your birthday recently, so I also hope that you can grow to become more mature, not only in thinking but also in spirit.
Thanks also for the fun times when we are able to perform together! And also to just ignore people's criticism on our faith, etc!

Gotta see you around in school often man!
